Catalyst powers climate change site for Greenpeace's Sign On campaign.
Catalyst had been asked by Greenpeace to help launch and promote their "Sign On" campaign. This campaign was gathering public support and backing for NZ to adopt a higher emissions reduction target for 2020.
Catalyst had chosen to use the Drupal content management system as the basis for this campaign and tasked our creative design team to work with Greenpeace NZ to put together a fresh and engaging site. We chose Drupal for its simplicity and ability to adopt different styles and custom themes, plus its native affinity to building online communities. Additional extensions were developed to make the campaign interactive in Facebook.
The website went live in June 2009 and proved to be an effective and central part of Greenpeace's push to have NZ take a leading position on this most important issue.
