Built on the flexible Drupal platform, Catalyst was able to rapidly establish a compelling web presence for the new national centre for tertiary teaching excellence, Ako Aotearoa. The site provides a single place for tertiary educators to:

• track news about teaching and learning initiatives from across the New Zealand tertiary sector
• access the latest research within tertiary education
• find out about Ako Aotearoa's activities and funding initiatives
• share knowledge about good practice in teaching and learning
• form or join a community of practice in a key area of interest
• link to other key sites within the sector
