Brief history
Catalyst began our outsourced services (an application hosted on two servers for Plumbing World) some ten years ago. Since that time we have grown to host over 200 servers within our primary environment, with other remote servers also managed by our team.
Over the last three years the projects have got bigger – especially the open source projects - including the SRS, Electoral Enrolment Centre, TAB, Open Polytechnic and Telecom open source based development, hosting and support contracts.
Open Source technologies have allowed us to grow these services well beyond what we could have achieved using proprietary technologies.
Our software development business has specialised in open source technologies and will retain this focus.

Our revenue split
20% of our revenues are derived through contracted support services based on managed hosting and SLA based services. 75% of our revenues are derived from software development related services.

- Consulting: Process Modelling, Project Management, Technical strategies, RFI/RFP Mgt
- Software Development: A range of technologies to government and commercial organisations’ bespoke requirements
- Hosting: Internet based business applications
- Technical consulting: Designing, implementing and supporting secure architectures.
- Outsourced Support: Of both Catalyst hosted and remote servers and desktops.
